Yes — UniFi is what we reach for most. We design, install and configure UniFi Network, Protect cameras and Access door entry for businesses and homes across Southern California, and we maintain them afterward through Watch4U.
In our view, yes — UniFi has improved a lot over the years, and it’s now a strong option for a small office or a larger commercial site. What decides how well it works is the design: sizing the console, the cabling and where the access points go. We’ll walk your site, show you the pluses and minuses for how you’ll use it, and itemize the cost before you commit.
We’re enrolled in Ubiquiti’s UniFi Enterprise Channel Partner Program, so we buy through their authorized distribution instead of a marketplace. To be precise: that’s a channel relationship, not a Ubiquiti certification, and we’re not a distributor. We can supply the hardware as part of an install, and it’s genuine, traceable Ubiquiti product.
Yes, and it’s common. We’ll walk the site, look at how the console and network were actually set up, and tell you what’s solid and what needs correcting. You keep the hardware you already paid for wherever it’s worth keeping.
Less than most people expect. UniFi Protect records to your own console with no per-camera recording fee and no paid AI add-on — Ubiquiti’s own page says “licensing is still $0.” The exception is UniFi Talk, which is phone service and bills per line. Face and license-plate recognition need an AI or G6 series camera rather than a license, so that one is a hardware choice. We itemize whatever applies to your build.
Yes — that’s one of the better reasons to pick UniFi. We’ll size the console and the cabling for where you’re heading, so adding Protect cameras or Access doors later is a straightforward addition instead of a rebuild.
